Osaka Castle Park
Osaka Castle Park is the principal destination for cherry blossom viewing, with about three thousand cherry trees scattered about its 261 acres (~ 106 hectares).
During peak sakura time, you will be treated to an expansive show of clouds of soft pink blossoms on the Somei Yoshino cherry trees.

Nishinomaru Garden
Nishinomaru Garden, located to the west of the main tower at Osaka Castle, is home to several hundred cherry trees, making it a must-visit destination for cherry blossom viewing in Osaka.
Many of the trees in the garden are of the Somei Yoshino variety, which feature pale pink blossoms fading to white. They bloom in early spring.
The garden also contains many weeping cherry trees.

Peak cherry blossom bloom time at Osaka Castle Park typically runs from late March until early April.
Of course, exact peak bloom can vary from year to year.

For 2025, the peak cherry blossom bloom in Osaka is currently slated to occur April 5, but you will see blossoms before and after this date.
